Wall art
Wall colour
Use a spray gun to blend shades of pink, purple and aubergine together in blocks on the walls. Paint the rest of the walls white.
Storage
Storage
For a minimal look, construct a large wardrobe and cupboard area to hide away all your clothes. In the central area, create deep shelves to house a TV and stereo. Paint the side of the shelves pink.
Pink furry headboard
Pink furry headboard
Make a padded headboard out of 15 squares of 12mm MDF. Cover with foam pads followed by stretchy pink fleece. Mount the 15 squares on to a large sheet of MDF and fix firmly to the wall with screws.
Mirrored ceiling
Mirrored ceiling
Stretch Shrink mirror over a 5 cm x 2.5 cm wooden frame and staple in place. Use a heat gun to make the material reflective. Suspend from the ceiling using strong cup hooks.
Blackout curtains
Blackout curtains
Stitch funky blackout curtains for the windows by simply using plain lining fabric. Hem the top with silver eyelet heading tape which has pre-cut chrome eye-lets and fastening eye-lets to fix the material.
Handmade sculpture
Handmade sculpture
Build a plaster sculpture using dental alginate. Place hands in a bucket and pour alginate in around. Leave until set. Remove hands and pour in fine casting powder to fill the space left by the hands. Sand finely and paint white.
